CALL TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Scofield called the Commission meeting to order at 9:01 a.m.
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).
COMMISSION REMARKS
None.
APPROVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Checks #450422 thru #450486, no Warrants or Journal
Entries. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield
(aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Regular Session Minutes dated June 25 and June 27,
2018. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Executive Session Minutes dated June 25 and June
27, 2018. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
BOARD APPOINTMENT - BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
Commissioner Williams moved to appoint Cory Roebuck to the Board o f Adjustment to finish
out the term from July 2, 2018 to December 31, 2021. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion
with discussion. The motion failed by vote: Scofield (nay), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (nay).
Commissioner Wyatt moved to appoint Rick Persinger to the Board o f Adjustment, term
beginning, today, July 2, 2018 ending December 31, 2021. Commissioner Williams seconded the
motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
BID RECOMMENDATION FOR BALLOT SCANNER & SOFTWARE #201805-410
Ron Erickson, Taney County Purchasing Advisor, and Donna Neeley, County Clerk, came
before the Commission to present the Bid Recommendation for Ballot Scanner & Software
#201805-410. Mrs. Neeley let the Commission know that the County Clerk’s Office has grant
money available to pay for the purchase o f the equipment.
Commissioner Williams moved to award Bid #201805-410 to Henry M. Adkins and Sons, Inc.
o f Clinton, Missouri. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
TRANSFER STATION AND MAINTENANCE BUILDNG CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 #18-
088RB
Travis Heier with HDR Engineering came before the Commission to discuss the Transfer Station
and Maintenance Building Change Order No. 2.

Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Transfer Station and Maintenance Building
Change Order No. 2 labeled as #18-088RB. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
WELLNESS COMMITTEE VACANCY RECOMMENDATION
Commissioner Williams moved to appoint Shane Keys and Dawn Muller to the Wellness
Committee based on their recommendation. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
COURT ORDERS
Chuck Pennel, Taney County Assessor, and Wesley Shoemaker, Chief Deputy Clerk, came
before the Commission to present Court Orders.

Commissioner Williams moved to approve Exhibit A dated July 2, 2018. Commissioner Wyatt
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt
(aye).
ANIMAL CONTROL DOG BITE DISCUSSION
Sherry Simpson with Taney County Animal Control and Robert Neizgoda with Taney County
Health Department came before the Commission to discuss policies and procedures concerning
the differences between bites from wild animals and domesticated animals.
Sheriff Jimmy Russell joined the discussion.
No motions were made.
