Wednesday June 27, 2018: Despite multiple Direct Bid Invitations (DBIs) on May 26,
2018, and on June 18, 2018 to various Vendors who might be able to offer a response
to our solicitation here, we only received one response. Said response package was
opened today after which the below information was received and documented by
Taney County Deputy Clerk, Wesley Shoemaker and me.
VENDOR: Henry M. Adkins & Sons, Inc. of; Clinton, Mo. 64735
TOTAL BID PRICE…. $8,850.00
Mr. Shoemaker will keep a copy of the full bid response for a thorough and complete
review process with Taney County Clerk, Donna Neeley. An agenda request has been
made, and approved, for Monday July 2, 2018, to deliver an award recommendation.
Monday July 2, 2018: Subsequent to a thorough review of all the detailed pricing
offered, Taney County Clerk, Donna Neeley recommended; Henry M. Adkins & Sons,
Inc. of; Clinton, Mo, Mo. for award. A motion was made to award as such and the
Commission passed it unanimously. Any subsequent Agreement will be issued for 12
months with three (3) one year renewal options per mutual agreement on pricing,
product availability, delivery timeframes, etc., at that time. Said Agreement, with
assigned term as this, will ensure the best service to the Voting Public of Taney County
for this election cycle as well as the next two cycles.
