PRELIMINARY STUDY
The County Commission met in the Commission Conference Room at 8:42 a.m. with Mike
Scofield (present), Brandon Williams (absent), and Sheila Wyatt (present).
The Commission met to review the day’s agenda.
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room at 9:00 a.m. with Mike Scofield
(present), Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (absent).
Commissioner Wyatt entered the meeting during the pledge.

Presiding Commissioner Scofield called the Commission meeting to order at 9:02 a.m.

APPROVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Checks #450076 thru #450105, #450107 thru
#450172, Warrants #7004 thru 7008, and no Journal Entries or Transfers. Commissioner Wyatt
seconded the motion with discussion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams
(aye), and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Wyatt left the meeting.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Check #450106. Presiding Commissioner Scofield

Presiding Commissioner Scofield signed the Letter of Representation regarding the Financial
Statement.
AGREEMENT FOR MECHANIC SERVICES - #18-077RB (FABICK CATERPILLAR,
PRIMARY) (MURPHY TRACTOR, SECONDARY)
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Agreement by and between Taney County and
Fabick Caterpillar of Springfield, Missouri. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion with
discussion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve the Agreement with Murphy Tractor and Taney County
as Secondary under File #18-077RB. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion

Discussion ensued.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Engagement Letter by and between Taney
County and Steward Consulting with the addition of adding Melanie Smith to the upgrade team
as a County Manager. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:

UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI EXTENSION UPDATE
Sandra Smart came before the Commission to give updates on the following topics:

BRIDGE PROGRAM AGREEMENT #18-080RB
Presiding Commissioner Scofield read a letter dated June 7, 2018 from Travis Elliott, Taney
County Attorney, which stated that approved it the agreement to form.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the agreement by and between Taney County and
Missouri Highways & Transportation Commission. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion.
The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
BRANSON FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS AGREEMENT #15-095PZ
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the agreement by and between Taney county and
Attractions Management Group, LLC. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion
passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
MUTUAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT FOR OPERATION OF THE 911
EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SYSTEM 2018 #18-074CM
Tammy Hagler, 911 Administrator, came before the Commission to discuss the Mutual
Cooperation Agreement for Operation of the 911 Emergency Telephone System 2018.
Discussion ensued.
Jeff Matthews, Branson Chief of Police, and Harold Clements, Communication Supervisor for
the City of Branson, and Jamie Rouch, Finance Director for the City of Branson, joined the
discussion.
Mrs. Hagler was directed to find out how many calls, in the previous two years, end up at
Branson 911 PSAP or end up at the Sheriffs Department 911 PSAP (where they terminate).
Then get those numbers to all parties.
