THE APRIL ADJOURN TERM
PRELIMINARY STUDY
The County Commission met in the Commission Conference Room at 8:35 a.m. with Mike
Scofield (present), Brandon Williams (absent), and Sheila Wyatt (present).
The Commission met to review the day’s agenda.
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room at 9:02 a.m. with Mike Scofield
(present), Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).
PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
CALL TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Scofield called the Commission meeting to order at 9:03 a.m.
COMMISSION REMARKS
None.
APPROVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Checks #450055 thru #450075, no Warrants, and no
Journal Entries/Transfers. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by
vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Previous Meeting Minutes dated May 29th, 2018.
Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams
(aye), and Wyatt (aye).
APPOINTMENT TO THE SOUTHWEST MISSOURI COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENT
TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Commissioner Williams moved to appoint Randy Haes as an alternate to the Southwest Missouri
Council of Government Transportation Advisory Committee effective July 1st, 2018 thru June
30th, 2019. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield
(aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

TANEY COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER CONSULTANT PRESENTATION

Present: Presiding Commissioner Scofield; Commissioner Wyatt; Commissioner Williams; Stan
Dobbins, Branson City Administrator; Rick Ziegenfuss, Hollister City Administrator; Denise
Olmstead, Assistant City Administrator; Eric Schmitt, Branson Assistant Police Chief; Jeff
Matthews, Branson Police Chief; David Rockhill, Purchasing Agent for City of Branson; E J
Jones, Support Lieutenant Branson Police Department; Sherri Simpson, Taney County Animal
Control; Melody Pettit, City of Branson Communications Manager; Terry Tevis and Suzanne
Ivis from Tevis Architects
Terry and Ivis gave an assessment of the Taney County Animal Control Shelter to see how they
could improve the shelter and facilitate the care and adoption of the dogs and cats of Taney
County.

motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
