THE APRIL ADJOURN TERM

PRELIMINARY STUDY
The County Commission met in the Commission Conference Room at 8:33 a.m. with Mike
Scofield (present), Brandon Williams (absent), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

The Commission met to review the day’s agenda.

FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room at 9:01 a.m. with Mike Scofield
(present), Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

PUBLIC COMMENT
None.

CALL TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Scofield called the Commission meeting to order at 9:02 a.m.

COMMISSION REMARKS
Presiding Commissioner Scofield made an announcement that the Ozark Area Community
Action Corporation is having an open house on May 24th, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. located at 610
South 6th Street in Branson.

APPROVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Accounts Payable Checks #449850 thru #449940,
Warrants #6998 thru #6999. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by
vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve the Previous Meeting Minutes from May 14th, 2018.
Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

PERSONAL PROPERTY ADD ON REPORT - APRIL
Commissioner Williams moved to accept and enter into record the Personal Property Add-On
Report as presented by the County Clerk’s Office. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion.
The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

MODOT MONTHLY UPDATE
Beth Schaller with MoDOT came before the Commission to give updates regarding the
following:

• Mowing is going on along with patching on certain roads
• Bull Shores Bridge is getting close to a deck pour
• 3 bridges in Eastern Taney County: Kentucky Bridge is done, Beaver Creek Bridge and
Brown Branch is still being worked on
• O Hwy is done
• Y Hwy needs to be stripped
• Discussion on maintenance work for the Long Creek Bridge is ongoing

COON CREEK AND MAPLE STREET CONNECTION DISCUSSION
Taney County Commission Conference Room
Present: Donna Neeley, County Clerk; Devin H uff and Denzil Brown Taney County Road and
Bridge Assistant Administrators; Mel Eakins and Spencer Jones from Great River Engineering

Mr. Jones stated they had met with Hollister about adding Maple to Birch to the Scope of work
and Mr. Jones stated they could do that at no increase in cost over the current budget.
Commissioner Wyatt and Presiding Commissioner Scofield approved and Commissioner
Williams had no comment.

Mr. Brown stated the bridge over Coon Creek would be done by November 15th, 2018.
