Wednesday April 18, 2018: Despite sending out direct bid invitations to all known qualified
Vendors, we only received one (1) response to this solicitation. Said response was opened in the
Commission Hearing Room, in public, after which details were documented above. A thorough
review of said information by Road & Bridge Administrator Randy Haes and Assistant Administrator
Devin Huff will soon be completed. An agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver an
award recommendation to the Taney County Commission on Monday April 23, 2018.
Monday April 23, 2018: After a thorough review process by Mr. Haes and Mr. Huff a determination
was made that this single response is fully qualified and compliant with all bid requirements and
specifications as asked for. As such Mr. Huff recommended to the Taney County Commission to
award this bid to Coastal Energy Corporation of Willow Springs, Mo. His recommendation letter is
also included here.
A motion was made to award as such and the Taney County Commission then voted unanimously
to award to Coastal Energy Corporation of Willow Springs, Mo. A subsequent Agreement will be for
12 months, with a 12 month renewal clause – per mutual agreement on pricing, etc, at that time.
