Wednesday February 28, 2018: Despite bid invitations to numerous Dodge Car Dealers we only
received two (2) responses. Taney County Sheriff Jimmie Russell and I documented both
responses as listed above. It will be thoroughly reviewed by Sheriff Russell. An agenda request
was made, and approved, to deliver a recommendation for award on Tuesday March 6, 2018 to
the Taney County Commission.
Tuesday March 6, 2018: Sheriff Russell completed a thorough review of said responses which
he found to be totally in compliance with all required specifications except that the low Bidder,
Landmark Dodge, did not include the extended warranty. The Sheriff then recommended for
award Tri-Lakes Motors at $25,683.00 each, for four (4) vehicles.
The Commission thereafter voted unanimously to accept this recommendation and
awarded to Tri-Lakes Motors of Branson, Missouri for all four (4) vehicles.
