Wednesday February 28, 2018: After opening responses from both of the above listed companies
today, initial details were noted and documented by Road & Bridge Employees Randy Haes, Devin
Huff, and myself. All responses will be thoroughly reviewed by Road & Bridge Staff Employees. An
agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver a formal award recommendation to the
Taney County Commission on Tuesday March 6, 2018.
Tuesday March 6, 2018: The lowest bid response received was from Summit Truck Group of
Springfield, Missouri. After a thorough review of all submitted response details Road & Bridge
personnel delivered a recommendation to the Taney County Commission to award to Summit
Truck Group of; Springfield, Mo. as the lowest per their response listed above for two (2)
International “CROWN” dump trucks at a bid price of; $154,260.00 each..
A motion was made to award as such and The Taney County Commission then voted unanimously
to award to Summit Truck Group per the details as listed above.
