Wednesday December 6, 2017: After opening responses from both of the above listed companies
today, initial cost details were notated by Sheriff Russell and myself. These responses will be
thoroughly reviewed by Sheriff Russell. An agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver
a formal recommendation for award to the Taney County Commission on Monday December 11,
2017.
Monday December 11, 2017: Taney County Sheriff Jimmie Russell delivered his formal
recommendation, to the Taney County Commission, to award to G2 Digital Solutions of; Xenia, Ohio
45385 as the low Bidder. At the same time he asked for this award to be contingent upon this Vendor
being able to offer a satisfactory response to an email the Sheriff had sent earlier concerning warranty
and a few other concerns.
A motion was made to award as recommended and it passed unanimously. Later the Sheriff
confirmed the fact that he had received said information and was satisfied enough to proceed with the
purchase – which thereafter a purchase order was issued.
The Sheriff asked that if/when we would have any issues whatsoever regarding service delays or
poor responsiveness from G2 that we would return the equipment for a full refund and go with the
other Vendor. Pending contract / agreement will reflect this same required stipulation.
