Wednesday September 20, 2017: This bid process, with assistance from HDR
Engineering, resulted in only one qualified Vendor response. Said response was
opened in the Commission Hearing Room, in public, after which a decision was made to
allow a time for a thorough review of said information by Road & Bridge Administrator
Randy Haes and Travis Heier of HDR. An agenda request was made, and approved, to
deliver a formal recommendation for award on Monday September 25, 2017.
Monday September 25, 2017: The Taney County Commission met in reference to the
above listed bid. Mr. Haes presented the details as received within the single bid
response, as listed above to the Taney County Commission along with his letter
recommending the above listed Vendor for award at the above listed bid price. A motion
was made, by the Commission, to award this bid to Precision Scale & Controls, Inc. of
St. Louis, Mo. - and it passed unanimously.
