Wednesday June 14, 2017: Despite direct bid invitations to the qualified Vendors we
estimated might be able to offer the item we were asking for in this RFB, only one
response was received. Said response was opened in the Commission Hearing Room,
in public, after which a decision was made to allow a time for a thorough review of said
information by Road & Bridge Administrator Randy Haes. That response, from the
above listed Vendor, is listed above. An agenda request was made, and approved, to
deliver a formal recommendation for award on Monday June 19, 2017.
Monday June 19, 2017: The Taney County Commission met in reference to the above
listed bid. Mr. Haes presented the details as received within the single bid response, as
listed above to the Taney County Commission. A motion was made, by the
Commission, to award this bid to ABC Tire Recycling, of Kansas City, Mo. - and it
passed unanimously.
