Wednesday April 19, 2017: After opening responses from all of the above listed
companies today in the Commission Conference Room – in public, Road & Bridge
Administrator Randy Haes took possession of the responses to complete a thorough
review. An agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver a formal
recommendation to the Taney County Commission on Monday April 24, 2017.
Monday April 24, 2017: The Taney County Commission met today in reference to the
above listed RFB. Given the complex nature of this RFB, and the extensive details as
asked for within each response, we asked the Road & Bridge Office Manager Kathy
Roberts to prepare a Bid Tabulation Spreadsheet which she did in amazing fashion.
Please see it attached here. The Taney County Commission used her spreadsheet as a
vital tool to review all responses.
As per the details as indicated on said spreadsheet, Road & Bridge Administrator
Randy Haes recommended Oakland Lubrication Company of Nixa, Mo. as primary,
Schaeffer Manufacturing Company of St. Louis, Mo. as secondary, and Safety-Kleen
Systems, Inc. of Richardson, Tx. as tertiary. The Commission thereafter voted
unanimously to award as such. Term for this award is 18 months.
