Wednesday March 8, 2017: After opening responses from all of the above listed dealerships
today, Taney County Sheriff Jimmie Russell and I documented each response as listed above.
Aside from pricing we also took note of a few issues pertaining to warranty and required options.
Delivery timeframes were equal enough across the board. All responses will be thoroughly
reviewed by Sheriff Russell. An agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver his
recommendation for award on Monday March 13, 2017 to the Taney County Commission.
Monday March 13, 2017: Sheriff Russell completed a thorough review of all responses which
included him noting a $100 deductible charge for warranty from the low Bidder as well as a few
other issues with the specs on that response. Sheriff Russell then recommended the next
lowest Bidder for award; Tri-Lakes Motors at $33,433.00 each for two (2) vehicles.
The Commission thereafter voted unanimously to accept his recommendation and
awarded to Tri-Lakes Motors of Branson, Missouri for both vehicles.
