Wednesday February 22, 2017: After opening responses from all of the above listed companies
today, initial details were noted and documented by Road & Bridge Interim Administrator Randy
Haes and myself. All responses will be thoroughly reviewed by Mr. Haes. An agenda request has
been made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation to the Taney County Commission
on Monday February 27, 2017.
Monday February 27, 2017: The lowest bid response, as listed above, was received from
Technology International, Inc. of: Lake Mary, Fla. but during his thorough review process Mr. Haes
discovered they had listed a few exceptions significant in nature, as well as a much longer delivery
timeframe to be considered for award. Therefore Mr. Haes delivered his recommendation to the
Taney County Commission to award to G.W. Van Keppel of: Springfield, Missouri, per their
response as listed above.
A motion was made to award as such and The Taney County Commission then voted unanimously
to award to G.W. Van Keppel of: Springfield, Mo. for the purchase of two (2) units.
