Wednesday February 15, 2017: After opening responses from all of the above listed companies
today, initial details were noted and documented by Road & Bridge Interim Administrator Randy
Haes and myself. All responses will be thoroughly reviewed by Mr. Haes. An agenda request has
been made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation for award to the Taney County
Commission on Tuesday February 21, 2017.
Tuesday February 21, 2017: After a thorough review process by Mr. Haes, he recommended to the
Taney County Commission to award to S & H Farm Supply of; Rogersville, Mo. for the purchase of
two units. Although this was the higher response of the three it is the only response that meets the
specifications as asked for completely.
Technically both of the other bids received could have been rejected as non-responsive for reasons
of not complying with listed requirements, incorrect equipment being offered, and leaving
mandatory information requirements blank. Regardless both were thoroughly reviewed before
being eliminated from consideration for award.
A motion was made to award as such and The Taney County Commission then voted unanimously
to award to S & H Farm Supply of Rogersville, Mo. for the purchase of two units.
