Transfer Station

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Road and Bridge Administrator, the Road and Bridge Transfer
Station employee shall be responsible for performing all aspects of the position as assigned.
Each employee is assigned to a different station within the Transfer Station.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
It is the objective of the Road and Bridge Department that each employee in the Transfer Station,
when fully trained, be responsible for performing the duties listed below:

Driving Semi trucks
Hauling trash
Operating a back-hoe
Packing trash
Working in the scale house. Weigh-ins, weigh-outs, and accepting payments
Some Transfer Station employees will only be required to pull the truck/ trailer out for other
drivers, but not be responsible for actually driving the truck
Other duties that management may assign
Attendance is key to performing the job

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

EQUIPMENT
Computer, fax machine, copy machine, printer, telephone, calculator, etc.

SALARY: $14.00 per hour STATUS: Full time, 40 hours per week
