Duties:
The Chieff Juvenile Offficer reports directly
d to thee Presiding Juudge and servees as senior m manager of thhe 46th
Circuit Ju
uvenile Officee. Successful candidate wiill be responsiible for the pllanning, budggeting, traininng,
coordinatiion, staffing and
a general ad dministration n of juvenile ccourt servicess for the 46th JJudicial Circuuit.
Responsib bilities also in velopment, diissemination and implemenntation of pollicies and
nclude the dev
procedurees to ensure th hat the juvenile office commplies with alll state statutess and regulations, judicial
mandates and Supremee Court Ruless. The candid date will have primary respponsibility forr the developm ment
and impleementation off training prog grams for all deputy
d juveniile officers annd shall monittor and evaluuate
deputy juvvenile officerrs’ performance in court an nd in the fieldd.

Qualifica ations:
Graduatio on from an accredited colleege or universsity with a ba chelor degreee in psychologgy, criminal
justice, so
ociology, sociial work or oth
her related beehavioral servvice; at least tthree years off experience aas a
juvenile officer,
o case management
m with
w juvenile or adult offennders or otherr related workk including att least
one year of
o supervisory y experience; must possesss strong comm munication skkills. Any equuivalent
combinatiion of educatiion, training and
a experiencce will be connsidered. Thee candidate m must agree to rreside
in Taney County,
C havee a valid Missouri driver liccense and be available for on-call respoonsibilities.
