SINGLE SOURCE PROVIDER

SINGLE SOURCE; ARGYLE Security Group Inc. for Jail Security Hardware, Software,
Maintenance, and Repair.

On the date as listed above I delivered the below information to the Taney County Commission.

• The Taney County Purchasing Department released this NOTICE OF INTENT on June 25, 2016 via
both available newspapers within the county as well as posting it on the Taney County website. It
included a detailed document which establishes ARGYLE Security Group Inc. as a Sole Source
Provider for Jail Security Hardware, Software Maintenance and Repair.
• On November 2, 2015 this Vendor, Argyle Security Group, Inc., was declared by the Taney County
Commission as the Single Source Provider for Taney County for the needs as listed again within this
effort. That previous process included certain limitations based on information available at that time
which did not anticipate major repairs we have since experienced. Therefore we are issuing this new
Sole Source Provider effort.
• This will be an ongoing arrangement at least until a certain time when Buildings and Grounds might
need to re-evaluate all required needs respective to performed service and maintenance efficiency
levels or if/when any possible alternative source may become available. If an alternative source
identifies itself a formal bid will be let at that time.
• Although it appears that current state statutes would not require this declaration, we have decided to
follow a more complete process using “Sole Source” determinations to ensure a fair, transparent,
and competitive result.

Given these factors the Taney County Purchasing Department recommends: ARGYLE Security Group
Inc. as the single feasible source for this needed process. Allowing for all of the above information, at
this time I would ask if anyone present has any questions. Now then I would like to make an
announcement requesting that if in fact there is any person, or persons, here now who feels they, or
their company can immediately offer an alternative to the ARGYLE Security Group Inc., which is as
beneficial to Taney County with all of the same financial advantages and required Jail Security services
please come forward.

Seeing no such person - I asked that a motion be made to declare ARGYLE Security Group Inc. as
Sole Source Provider for these needs.

The Taney County Commission then made a motion to award as such as it passed unanimously.
