JOB POSTING
TITLE: Road and Bridge - Mechanic
This position will remain posted until filled. Applications must be received by June 10, 2016,
5:00 p.m.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Road and Bridge Administrator, the Road and Bridge Mechanic
shall be responsible for performing all aspects of the position as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
> Repair and maintain equipment
> Skilled in hydraulics, electronic and mechanical workings of equipment and trucks
> Ability to make modifications to equipment and develop new tools and equipment as needs
arise
>Experience in heavy equipment, operating a dump truck, as well as other equipment used in
road maintenance
> Experience in welding and torch work a plus
REQUIREMENTS:
>H igh School Diploma or GED
>Tw o years experience required
>Degree or certification preferred
SALARY: Depends on experience and qualifications
STATUS: Full time, 40 hours per week
