NOTICE OF INTENT TO DECLARE
SINGLE SOURCE PROVIDER

SINGLE SOURCE: Steward Consulting Inc., for; Maintaining Workgroup Accounting Software for
Sage100 Advanced, Biznet Software & Crystal Reports for Sage.
SSP NUMBER: 201605-342
On the date as listed above I delivered the below information to the Taney County Commission.
• The Taney County Purchasing Department released NOI / SSP #201605-342 on May 2, 2016
through a posting on the Taney County website listing key factors establishing Steward Consulting
Inc. as a Single Source Provider for “Maintaining Workgroup Accounting Software / Sage100
Advanced, Biznet Software & Crystal Reports for Sage.
• At the same time NOTICE requests were sent to both available newspapers within the county inviting
any/all possible responses to present themselves here today either in person / in writing, by 9:30 AM.
• Said NOTICES included directions to our website, or me, for details.
• Both NOTICES were published, without errors, on May 4, 2016.
• Upon completion of today’s process Steward Consulting, Inc. will handle the required maintenance,
now due, for our current systems and various report writer assistance using their working knowledge
of Governmental Accounting.
• Subsequent to this process Steward Consulting, Inc. will continue to be the sole provider of services
and products for our Workgroup Software / Sage 100 Advanced systems on an ongoing basis or until
an alternative source becomes known / available.
• All of this as per RSMo. 50.783.
Given these factors the Taney County Purchasing Department recommended: Steward Consulting Inc.
of Tulsa, Oklahoma as the single feasible source for these needed products and services. Allowing for
all of the above information, at this time I asked if anyone present had any questions. (No questions.)
At this point I made an announcement requesting that if in fact there was any person, or persons,
present who feels they, or their company can immediately offer an alternative to Steward Consulting
Inc. which is equally financially as beneficial as them to Taney County with all of the same advantages
and standards as required for Taney County that they should please come forward. (None did.)
Seeing no such person - I asked that a motion be made to declare Steward Consulting Inc. as Single
Feasible Sole Source Provider for these needs with the required stipulation that if at any future time an
alternative source for these needs should identify itself, the Commission would then immediately set
aside this declaration. At such time Taney County will take other available statutorily governed steps,
acting in the best interest of the County, to legally procure these products and services.
The Taney County Commission then made a motion to declare as such, designating Steward
Consulting Inc. of Tulsa, Oklahoma as the Single Feasible Sole Source Provider for these products and
services, and the motion then passed unanimously. A subsequent contract / agreement “DRAFT” will
follow as soon as possible – to be submitted by this Vendor.
