Wednesday May 18, 2015: Although this RFB was sent to three (3) qualified Vendors,
today I opened the only Bid package received and documented the details with Road &
Bridge Interim Administrator, Randy Haes. Mr. Haes assisted as a witness filling in for
the Sheriff as he was already present for other business. I then forwarded a copy to the
Sheriff for a thorough and complete review. An agenda request has been made, and
approved, for Monday May 23, 2016 in order to deliver an award recommendation.
Monday May 23, 2015: The Taney County Commission met today to hear an award
recommendation for the above listed RFB. Subsequent to a thorough review of the
detailed pricing offered, Sheriff Jimmie Russell forwarded me his request to present his
recommendation for award due to him attending a required meeting out of town. Per his
request I recommended the bid as received from Radiophone Engineering, listed above,
to be awarded. A motion was made to award as such and the Commission passed it
unanimously.
