Wednesday April 13, 2016: After opening responses from both of the above listed companies
today, initial details were noted by Road & Bridge Interim Administrator Randy Haes and the county
Purchasing Agent. Both responses will be thoroughly reviewed by Mr. Haes. An agenda request
has been made, and approved, to deliver a formal award recommendation to the Taney County
Commission on Monday April 25, 2016.
Monday April 25, 2016: After a thorough review process by Mr. Haes he arrived at a point total
giving the edge to Great River Associates. Therefore Mr. Haes recommended to the Taney County
Commission to award to Great River, per his attached letter dated April 20, 2016 listing the point
totals, to the Taney County Commission.
A motion was made to award as such and The Taney County Commission then voted unanimously
to award this project to Great River Associates as recommended.

D ear Sirs,
I have review ed the qualifications from both engineering firms that subm itted
RFQ per request. I w ill rate both on criteria of:
E xperience & Technical C om petence 30 points
Capacity and C apability 30 points
Past Record o f Perform ance 40 points
Both firm s are experienced and capable o f engineering this project for us; they
both have the technical com petence and capacity. I w ould give both 30 points for the
first two categories. We have done several bridges with G reat R iver Engineering and
are currently engineering two for Taney C ounty at present time. HDR has done
several projects for Taney County' also and is currently engineering our Transfer
Station and Road and Bridge facility. Past record o f perform ance I would give Great
River Engineering the total o f 40 points and HDR the total o f 20 points. Great River
has several bridges in this area and HDR is located more around Kansas C ity and St.
Louis area. Both com panies are very capable and highly respected in their fields.
T would recom m end G reat River Engineering for this project based on past record o f
perform ance.
