Wednesday April 20, 2016: Mona Cope from the Taney County Collector’s Office and I
met, in public, at the Taney County Commission Hearing Room in reference to the
above listed bid. Despite multiple direct bid invitations to both qualified newspaper
services within our county - only one response was received. That response was from
the above listed Newspaper Service, submitting the amount as listed above. Mona took
a copy of the full bid package response for Taney County Collector Sheila Wyatt to
review. I had previously requested and gained approval, for an agenda time in front of
the Taney County Commission to present this bid response information on behalf of
Sheila Wyatt on Monday April 25, 2016.
Monday April 25, 2016: The Taney County Commission met in reference to the above
listed bid. I presented the details as received within the single bid response, as listed
above to the Taney County Commission on behalf of Taney County Collector, Sheila
Wyatt. A motion was made, by the Commission, to award this bid to Branson Tri-Lakes
News for the 2016 County Tax Sale and it passed unanimously.
