Obtaining and Maintaining a Concealed Carry Permit in Taney County

All applications (new and renewal) will be processed by appointment only.

To Apply For a New CCW Permit
Applicants must provide the following items at the time of application:

1. Missouri Instructor Qualification Form - the instructor will provide you with this form.
2. Valid Photo ID: state issued driver's license or a state issued non-driver’s license.
3. Proof o f residency if your address is not correct on your ID - utility bill, tax bill, deed/lease
or rental agreement.
4. Permanent Residency card if not a U.S. citizen.
5. Cash, money order or cashier’s check for $100.00 made payable to Taney County Sheriff s
Revolving Fund.
6. All fees are non-refundable.
7. No personal checks, credit or debit cards will be accepted.

It can take up to 45 days to process your permit application. Upon completion, you will be
notified by phone to pick up your permit in our office.

The Conceal and Carry Permit carrier is responsible for being aware and abiding by all
the Missouri State laws and statutes. RSMo 571.101

To Renew Your CCW Permit
Applicants must provide the following items at the time o f renewal:

1. Current Conceal Carry Permit
2. Valid Missouri driver’s license or non-driver ID
3. Proof of residency if your address is not correct on your ID - utility bill, tax bill, deed/lease
or rental agreement.
4. Cash, money order or cashier’s check for $50.00 made payable to the Taney County
Sheriffs Revolving Fund.
5. All fees are non-refundable.
6. No personal checks, credit or debit cards will be accepted.
