Wednesday April 13, 2016: After opening responses from both of the above listed companies
today, initial details were noted and documented by Road & Bridge Interim Administrator Randy
Haes and the county Purchasing Agent. Both responses will be thoroughly reviewed by Mr. Haes.
An agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation to the
Taney County Commission on Monday April 18, 2016.
Monday April 18, 2016: The lowest bid response received was from Empire Energy, LLC of:
Branson, Mo. which stands as the best choice for the county after a thorough review process by
Mr. Haes. As such Mr. Haes recommended to the Taney County Commission to award to Empire
Energy as the lowest Bidder per their response as listed above. A subsequent agreement will
remain in force for 2 years.
A motion was made to award as such and The Taney County Commission then voted unanimously
to award as recommended for a period of 2 years.
