Wednesday March 9, 2016: After opening bid responses for the purchase of four (4) pickup
trucks for Road & Bridge, from all of the above dealerships today, Taney County Road & Bridge
Interim Administrator Randy Haes and I documented each response as listed above. All
responses will be thoroughly reviewed by Mr. Haes. An agenda request was made, and
approved, to deliver a recommendation for award on Monday March 14, 2016 to the Taney
County Commission.
Monday March 14, 2016: After completing a thorough review of all responses Mr. Haes
recommends Tri-Lakes Motors for award of this bid for Taney County to purchase all four (4)
needed vehicles. Tri-Lakes Motors is the lowest bid response on the three (3) larger trucks (3/4
ton) and they are less than $75.00 next lowest on the one (1) smaller truck (1/2 ton) which
combined offers the lowest cost for all four (4) vehicles.
The Commission thereafter voted unanimously to accept his recommendation and
awarded this bid to Tri-Lakes Motors.
