Wednesday March 2, 2016: After opening responses from both of the above listed companies
today, Taney County Chief Deputy Anderson and I documented each response as listed above.
All responses will be thoroughly reviewed by Sheriff Russell. An agenda request was made, and
approved, to deliver recommendations for award on Monday March 7, 2016 to the Taney
County Commission.
Monday March 7, 2016: Sheriff Russell completed a thorough review of all responses which
included him making contact with certain Vendors to verify warranty information or lack thereof
and clarify all of the above pricing as final. He then forwarded me the details and asked me to
present his recommendation for award due to him attending a required meeting out of town.
Above we have received two bid responses. Landmark Dodge is low bid but did not include the
extended 5/100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. As such we need to disqualify Landmark
Dodge due to no extended warranty as asked for within the bid specs. Sheriff Russell
recommends for award Tri-Lakes Motors at $28,391.00…

The Commission thereafter voted unanimously to accept this recommendation and
award to Tri-Lakes Motors of Branson, Missouri.
