Monday January 4, 2016 @ 9:30 AM: After releasing the above Bid on December 8,
2015, with Direct Bid Invitations to various Vendors who might be able to offer a
response, we only received one response. Said response package was opened today
on the date & time above. The below information was received and documented with
Taney County Clerk, Donna Neeley – formally in front of the Taney County Commission
on the record. Donna then took a copy of the full Bid response for a thorough and
complete review. An agenda request had previously been made, and approved, for later
this morning, at 10:30 AM, to deliver an award recommendation.
VENDOR: Henry M. Adkins & Sons, Inc. of; Clinton, Mo. 64735
GRAND TOTAL PRICE FOR ALL…. $138,070.40… (“10% DISCOUNT IF PAID IN
FULL DURING 2016” making the total amount; $124,263.36…)
The above Bid response, along with the above pricing, also included all required forms
signed and/or initialed. Their references are very impressive and specific to the needs
we are looking for. Also they have been a Vendor on file with Taney County with a very
satisfactory work record.
Monday January 4, 2016 @ 10:30 AM: The Taney County Commission re-convened to
hear an award recommendation for the above listed needs, via RFB#201512-321.
Subsequent to a thorough review of all the detailed pricing offered, Taney County Clerk,
Donna Neeley recommended; Henry M. Adkins & Sons, Inc. of; Clinton, Mo, Mo. for
award. A motion was made to award as such and the Commission passed it
unanimously.
