JOB POSTING
TITLE: Road and Bridge – Mechanic
This position will remain posted until filled. Applications must be received by November 13,
2015, 5:00 p.m.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Road and Bridge Administrator, the Road and Bridge Mechanic
shall be responsible for performing all aspects of the position as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Repair and maintain equipment
Skilled in hydraulics, electronic and mechanical workings of equipment and trucks
Ability to make modifications to equipment and develop new tools and equipment as needs
arise
Experience in heavy equipment, operating a dump truck, as well as other equipment used in
road maintenance
Experience in welding and torch work a plus
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED
Two years experience required
Degree or certification preferred
SALARY: Depends on experience and qualifications
STATUS: Full time, 40 hours per week
