The purpose of this “Term & Supply” Bid is to have an Electrical Professional on contract to
furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, services, and supervision to
perform ongoing, as needed Electrical Work, Maintenance, and Repair for all Taney County
properties. This contract is also expected to include / cover Modifications, Remodels, New
Facilities (2 being considered), and certain other unexpected needs
Wednesday August 12, 2015: After opening both responses received for the above listed
RFB, in the Commission Hearing Room – in public, a decision was made to allow a time for a
thorough review of said information by Road & Bridge, Buildings & Grounds, and the Purchasing
Departments. Thereafter an agenda request was made, and approved, to deliver a
recommendation for award on Monday August 17, 2015. Bid response cost details from both
vendors, Michel Electric & Castro Electric, are listed below by each item as asked for within the
Bid – exactly.
Monday August 17, 2015: Subsequent to a thorough review of the detailed pricing offered,
within each Bid Package Response received, as well as all additional required documents to
establish either Vendor as a “Term & Supply” provider, we recommend for award the low
Bidder; Castro Electric of Branson, Mo. to the Taney County Commission. Per the details within
the initial Bid we would like to include in our recommendation a 36 month term to be assigned to
any eventual executed contract.

After a brief discussion a motion was made to award as recommended, and the Taney County
Commission voted unanimously to do so.
