Tuesday February 3, 2015: After opening responses from two (2) Waste Management
companies today (WCA & Republic Services), the initial details were noted by Road &
Bridge Coordinator Randy Haes and myself. Both responses will be thoroughly
reviewed by Mr. Haes. An agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver a
formal recommendation to the Taney County Commission on: Monday February 9,
2015.
Monday February 9, 2015: After a thorough review by Randy Haes and other Road &
Bridge Staff Members, Mr. Haes recommends award to Republic Services as Primary
and WCA as Secondary. Please see the following letter from Randy Haes as well as a
spread sheet created by Road & Bridge Office Manager Kathy Roberts.

We further recommend the Commission to include within any motion to award a
stipulation, today, that any subsequent contract for “Tipping Services” is to include the
timeframe listed in the RFB of; two years, starting approximately on February 20, 2015
running through February 19, 2017.
The Taney County Commission reviewed the information then had several questions
after which a motion was made to award as such, and it passed unanimously.
