Award Results: All six (6) submitted proposals met the basic requirements with the lowest pricing, as
indicated in the above table, being submitted by ABL Management, Inc. out of Baton Rouge, La. As such
Sheriff Russell recommended ABL for award to The Taney County Commission allowing for the existing
inmate menu to remain in place and continue to be the best option for Taney County.
Thereafter the Commission voted unanimously to accept the recommendation and award to: ABL for food
service management for the Taney County Jail for four (4) years. All other requirements as indicated within the
signed RFP response apply/govern for now, with a formal and complete contract to follow as soon as possible.
