RESPONSES RECEIVED TOTAL POINT VALUE
(Company) (Assigned Via Attached Evaluation Process)
Aramark Uniform Services of; Springfield, Mo. 43
Cintas Corporation of; Springfield, Mo. 50
Unifirst Corporation of; Springfield, Mo. 49

Tuesday September 30, 2014: After opening responses from all of the above listed
companies today, Road & Bridge Coordinator Randy Haes and I decided to invite all
three (3) Vendors in to make presentations, clarify their responses, and answer
questions by our designated Employee Review Panel. I contacted all Vendors as well
as all Panel Members and everyone agreed to meet the next day. Each Vendor was
assigned a separate one hour period. An agenda request has been made, and
approved, to deliver a formal recommendation for award to the Taney County
Commission on Monday October 6, 2014.
Wednesday October 1, 2014: At 9:00 AM our five (5) person Employee Review Panel
received the first Uniform Vendor - representing Aramark. Then at 10:30 AM we all
received representatives from Unifirst and lastly, at 1:00 PM representatives from
Cintas. Please see attached evaluation sheet for the final point values assigned, for
each item by Vendor, based on unanimous agreement by our Employee Panel. After a
lengthy process including thorough questioning, viewing samples, and discussing all
submitted information the Panel assigned specific scores as listed above.
All three companies were very close in all respects except for only a few. Aramark lost
points specific to their response, or lack thereof, regarding Addendum #1 asking for tee
shirt pricing, among other things. Also they had the least efficient tracking system for
lost articles. Unifirst also lost a point regarding their responses to Addendum #1.
Monday October 6, 2014: Today in a formal meeting before the Taney County
Commission, per all of the information above and attached - Mr. Haes recommended
awarding to Cintas as the best possible choice for Taney County. The Taney County
Commission thereafter voted unanimously to award as such.
Thank you.
