Tuesday September 16, 2014: After opening responses from all of the above listed
companies today, Road & Bridge Coordinator Randy Haes took possession of the
responses to complete a thorough review. An agenda request has been made, and
approved, to deliver a formal recommendation to the Taney County Commission on:
Monday September 22, 2014.
Monday September 22, 2014: The Taney County Commission met today in reference
to the above listed RFB. Given the complex nature of this RFB, and the extensive
details as asked for within each response, we asked the Road & Bridge Office Manager
Kathy Roberts to prepare a Bid Tabulation Spreadsheet which she did in amazing
fashion. Please see it attached here. The Taney County Commission used her
spreadsheet as a vital tool to review all responses.
As per the details as indicated on said spreadsheet, Road & Bridge Coordinator Randy
Haes recommended Oakland Lubrication Company of Nixa, Mo. as the best choice for
Taney County to stay with. The Commission thereafter voted unanimously to award as
such.
