Tuesday September 16, 2014: After opening responses from both of the above listed
companies today, Road & Bridge Coordinator Randy Haes and I documented each
response as listed above. Both responses will be thoroughly reviewed by Mr. Haes. An
agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation to
the Taney County Commission on: Monday September 22, 2014.
Monday September 22, 2014: The Taney County Commission met today in reference
to the above listed RFB. Road & Bridge Coordinator Randy Haes had completed a
thorough review of both information packages finding the higher Bidder to be in total
compliance with all requirements within the Bid specifications. The lower Bidder does
not offer the correct engine per the Bid specifications. Therefore he recommended:
G.W. Van Keppel Co. of Springfield, Mo. for award of this Bid. The Commission
thereafter voted unanimously to award as such.
