Tuesday August 26, 2014: After opening responses from both of the above listed
companies today, Sheriff Russell and I documented each response as listed above. The
responses will be more thoroughly reviewed by the Sheriff later. An agenda request has
been made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation to the Taney County
Commission on Thursday August 28, 2014.
Thursday August 28, 2014: The Taney County Commission met today in reference to
the above listed RFB. Sheriff Russell completed a thorough review of the information
packages finding the low Bid from; Masters Transportation, Inc. of Ozark, Mo. to be the
best choice for Taney County. As such he recommended them for award of this Bid.
The Commission thereafter voted unanimously to award as recommended.
