Tuesday August 12, 2014: After opening responses from both of the above listed
companies today, Road & Bridge Coordinator Randy Haes and I documented each
response as listed above. Both responses will be thoroughly reviewed by Mr. Haes. An
agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation to
the Taney County Commission on Monday August 18, 2014.
Monday August 18, 2014: The Taney County Commission met today in reference to
the above listed RFB. Road & Bridge Coordinator Randy Haes had completed a
thorough review of both information packages finding the lower Bidder to be in total
compliance with all requirements within the Bid specs as well as including delivery to
our location. Therefore he recommended American Equipment Company of Kansas
City, Ks. for award of this Bid. The Commission thereafter voted unanimously to award
as such.
