REF: SSP#201407-270 / Notice of Intent – Biznet Software (RESULTS)
The Purchasing Department has completed documentation to support the following
declaration with numerous facts, stipulations and requirements.
Pursuant to RSMo #34.044 governing declaration of a Single Feasible Sole Source
Provider as previously advertised in the Taney County Times and the Branson Tri-
Lakes News, as well as posted on our Website we declare Virtual Management
Concepts (for: WORKGROUP ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE) - as the single feasible
sole source for said software. This Vendor has been the provider of said existing
software for Taney County for several years and now offers an expanded upgraded
version. Given these conditions we wanted to alert any possible alternative Vendor(s) of
our intensions.
Presiding Commissioner Houseman announced that given the factors as thus outlined
is there anyone here today to offer a response, make any comments, or present
themselves as a possible viable competitor for the services discussed here today as
well as outlined within supporting documents? Seeing no response the following was
read into the record… “The Taney County Commission wishes to make a motion to
declare Virtual Management Concepts as the sole source provider for this software
contingent upon a satisfactorily executed contract which will serve to the best interests
of Taney County for the entire term of any agreed upon contract. The length of term,
with other details, to be agreed upon at a later date.”
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Virtual Management Concepts as sole
source provider for our Workgroup Accounting Software Management needs.
Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion for discussion. The motion passed by vote:
