Tuesday March 25, 2014: After opening responses from the above listed companies today, Road &
Bridge Director Randy Haes and I documented each response as listed above. Both responses will be
thoroughly reviewed by Mr. Haes. An agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver a formal
recommendation to the Taney County Commission on Thursday March 27, 2014.
Thursday March 27, 2014: The Taney County Commission met today in reference to the above listed
RFB. Mr. Randy Haes, after completing a very thorough review of the information packages,
recommended the low Bid for award, to Friendly Ford of; Springfield, Mo. The Commission thereafter
asked a few questions concerning the expenses to have this done in Springfield vs. the higher cost
locally. It was decided that the significant cost difference is much greater than the cost to use the farther
Vendor and thus more savings for Taney County to go with the lower Bid. As such the Taney County
Commission voted unanimously to award to Friendly Ford.
Thank you.
