Tuesday April 15, 2014: After opening the only response received from the above listed company a
decision was made to allow a time for a thorough review of said information by Road & Bridge
Coordinator Randy Haes. Thereafter an agenda request was made, and approved to deliver a
recommendation for award on Monday April 28, 2014.

Monday April 28, 2014: Subsequent to a thorough review of the detailed pricing offered, as listed above,
Mr. Haes recommended the Bid as received from Tri-Lakes Petroleum Co. – for award. The pricing for
Diesel is only slightly higher than two (2) years ago, unleaded actually lower, and their mark-up is also
lower than in 2012.

Given the fact that we had sent out Bid Invitations to six (6) various “Fuel Traders” across the region,
resulting in numerous questions from them requiring two (2) addenda, as the Director of Purchasing I was
surprised by only one response. As such I agree with, and support, this recommendation. A motion was
made to award to Tri-Lakes Petroleum Co. – to the Taney County Commission and it passed
unanimously.
