Response to the above listed RFP resulted in a total of FOUR responses. A request was made to the Taney County
Commission to allow a set time for a thorough review of all responses. The Commission agreed and Thursday April
10, 2014 was set for a recommendation to be made.
Thursday April 10, 2014: After a thorough review of all responses Taney County Auditor Rick Findley submitted the
attached spread sheet, and offered the following details. “KPM may be the most qualified based on what they

included in the packages. The lowest bidder has done several audits for 3 class counties, but none for 1 class.”
After a few questions the Taney County Commission made a motion to award to; KPM, CPAs – of: Springfield, Mo,
as the best choice for Taney County. The motion passed unanimously. (See attached spreadsheet Bid Tab.)
