THE JULY ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in the County Clerkâs Office at 9:10 am with Ron Houseman (present), Danny
Strahan (present via teleconference), and Brandon Williams (present via teleconference). The following
proceedings were had and made a matter of record:
EMERGENCY MEETING
Commissioner Houseman called an Emergency Meeting to order at 9:10 am. The meeting concerns the recent
flooding and Flood Debris Waivers.
Commissioner Strahan declared the citizens of Hollister be allowed to bring flood debris to the Transfer Station
at no charge.
Melissa Duckworth came into the meeting.
Commissioner Strahan moved to accept flood debris from the citizens not commercial haulers at the Transfer
Station. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. Discussion ensued concerning the City of Hollister
being willing to pay for dumpsters. Commissioner Houseman said to let Ms. Duckworth work with the City of
Hollister. The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), and Williams (aye).
Commissioner Williams moved to adjourn. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed
by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), and Williams (aye).
