THE JULY ADJOURN TERM

The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room at 7:50 am with Ron Houseman and Danny
Strahan present; and Brandon Williams absent. The following proceedings were had and made a matter of
record:

CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER

Commissioner Houseman called the July 5, 2013, meeting to order at 7:50 am.

ROAD & BRIDGE
TRANSFER STATION

Randy Haes, with Road & Bridge, came before the Commission to discuss the Road Aggregate bid awards. He
stated his concern about the Primary keeping up with the production of chip. Mr. Haes stated he had spoken
with Table Rock to see if they would make any ahead and he was told no unless Table Rock was made the
Primary and Mr. Haes said that wasn’t possible. Mr. Haes said he will speak to the Third option if he sees that
the Primary is unable to keep up with production. The Commission agreed to allow Mr. Haes to take care of
this issue. Commissioner Strahan asked Mr. Haes to make note of the situation for consideration with future
bids.

Randy Haes with Road & Bridge, and Scott Starrett with Planning & Zoning, came before the Commission to
discuss an issue with the Transfer Station floor. Mr. Haes would like a couple of core drills to be completed to
test the soundness of the floor before repairs are made to the building. He will have to close the Transfer
Station for a few hours next Friday to allow for this testing. They presented an announcement for the
Commission’s approval for submittal to the papers and the radio station to notify the public.

Commissioner Strahan moved to adjourn. Commissioner Houseman seconded the motion. The motion passed
by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), and Williams (absent).
