THE APRIL ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room at 8:45 a.m. with Ron Houseman, Danny
Strahan, and Brandon Williams present. The following proceedings were had and made a matter of record:
PRELIMINARY STUDY
The Commission met to review previous meeting minutes and accounts payables.
CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Commissioner Houseman called the May 30, 2013 meeting to order at 9:06 a.m.
COMMISSION REMARKS
There were no Commission remarks at this time.
BOE
Commissioner Strahan moved to approve $75.00 pay for a full day (anything after 12 o’clock is considered a
full Day), $40.00 for half day for non-elected Members of the BOE year 2013. Williams seconded the motion.
The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), and Williams (aye).
COURT ORDERS
Cristy Smith of the Clerk’s Office and Sheila Wyatt, Collector, presented Court Orders for the Fourth Year Tax
Sale properties.
Commissioner Strahan wished to stress to the public that fourth year properties were undesirable, and the
process of abating off the taxes allowed for a new owner to take possession. This would put the parcel back on
the tax rolls, decreasing the County’s losses and benefiting the political subdivisions who now receive those
otherwise unpaid tax dollars.
Commissioner Strahan moved to accept and approve Exhibit “A”, which include Abatements #20140056 -
#20140084, as presented. Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye),
Strahan (aye), and Williams (aye).
911 CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT
Tammy Hagler of the 911 Administration presented the amended Agreement between Taney County and
AECOM Technical Services.
Commissioner Strahan moved to approve the agreement between Taney County and AECOM Technical
Services based on the recommendation of the 911 Advisory Board. Williams seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), and Williams (aye).
MoDOT MONTHLY UPDATE
Beth Schaller, with MoDOT, came before the Commission with their monthly update. There was a discussion
about the mowing and spraying of the grasses and weeds on the side of the highways in Taney County.

Commissioner Williams moved to go into Executive Session pursuant to RSMo 610.021 (1) (2) (3) (12).
Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan
(aye), and Williams (aye).
