BID TABULATION FORM
BID DATE; Tuesday July 2, 2013 (Extended)
BID FOR; Transfer Station Doors
BID NUMBER; RFB# 201305-226
Wednesday May 22, 2013: The above listed RFB was released to the Public via a published newspaper
NOTICE, posted on our website, and later – as a courtesy emailed to six (6) different construction
companies known to be possible participants in this type of an RFB. Certain documented phone calls
were exchanged between various Vendors and the point of contact for this RFB – during the entire course
or timeframe this RFB was “out”.
Tuesday June 18, 2013: On this date, one day after the official posted closing deadline for submitting
responses to the above listed RFB – I decided to extend the opening date by two weeks due to the fact
that we had not received any responses and we had not yet reached the opening time & date of June 19,
2013 at 9:30 AM. Also on this same date an addendum was posted on our website to announce this
extension as well as re-post the RFB with the new deadline / opening date / time of Tuesday July 2, 2013
at 9:30 AM. Also on this same date another email was sent out to the same listed Vendors alerting them
to this extension and strongly requesting them to consider an effort to participate. Over the course of the
next two weeks more phone calls were made, as well, to various Vendors.
Tuesday July 2, 2013: On this date at 9:15 AM I took position at the Taney County Commission Hearing
Room on alert for any possible interested parties who might appear regarding this RFB. I waited until 9:32
AM and returned to my office after NOT receiving any Reponses, packages, nor in person inquiries
regarding this RFB which had now reached / passed the final deadline.
Mr. Scott Starrett with Planning & Zoning, who had been the point of contact listed on the RFB, also
assisted by making numerous calls to Vendors – as mentioned above. Scott was present with me today
to observe / witness the total lack of any response to this RFB. He will escalate to other levels, including
DNR, an inquiry asking for direction concerning available options in lieu of this lack of response to both
extensive Bid efforts – as detailed above.
Thank you.

Director of Purchasing
