Response to the above listed RFB resulted in only one Bid being received. Lakes Area Lawn Care for: $1100.00.
Due to the high amount I suggested contacting the Vendor to allow them to view the locations and thereafter confirm
the amount. Renee Brusca, Taney County Building and Grounds Supervisor made contact and confirmed the
amount. Also she was asked questions regarding the “Worker’s Compensation Insurance” requirements being alerted
to the fact that this requirement was causing the amount to be higher than what we may have preferred. Renee was
then able to schedule a recommendation in front of the Taney County Commission for Monday June 3, 2013.
Monday June 3, 2013: After delivering the Bid results to the Taney County Commission, as listed above, the
Commission decided to reject this RFB, allow time for said questions to be resolved, and then re-evaluate all possible
solutions for the County Mowing Services.
A motion was made and the Taney County Commission voted unanimously to reject.
