THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room at 9:03 a.m. with Ron Houseman, Danny
Strahan, and Brandon Williams present. The following proceedings were had and made a matter of record:
PRELIMINARY STUDY
The Commission met to review previous meeting minutes and accounts payables.
CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Commissioner Houseman called the March 28, 2013, meeting to order at 9:03 a.m.
AGENDA REQUEST REVIEW
Nikki Lawrence came before the Commission to review agenda requests.
RUNWAY LIGHTING PROJECT FUNDING
Mark Parent came before the Commission to present agreements concerning the Runway Lighting Project
Funding.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Ordinance #2013-28-03 to authorize the County Commission to
execute a contract between the County of Taney and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission
providing for Airport Aid Agreement/reimbursement of funds for airport maintenance. Commissioner Strahan
seconded the motion.

Commissioner Houseman asked Commissioner Williams to read Ordinance #2013-28-03 once more. The
motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), Williams (aye).
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Engineering Consultant Agreement with Garber LLC as
presented. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan
(aye), Williams (aye).
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Grant Agreement By and Between the Missouri Highways and
Transportation and Taney County as presented. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion
passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), Williams (aye).
ENERGY GRANT FUNDS
This item will be rescheduled for Monday, April 1st, 2013.
BUCKET TRUCK RECOMMENDATIONS
Purchasing Agent Ron Erickson, Road and Bridge Administrator Randy Haes and Harlan Collins came before
the Commission to present a formal recommendation for RFP #201303-214 for a used Bucket Truck for the
Road and Bridge Department.
Mr. Haes recommended a 2000 GMC from Utility Fleet Sales as top choice for purchase contingent on an
inspection of the unit to make sure it meets their requirements. Their second vendor choice is in Alabama.
Commissioner Strahan moved to award RFP #201303-214 to Utility Fleet Sales for purchase of a used bucket
truck contingent on inspection of the unit. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed
by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), and Williams (aye).

The Commission met to review the daily business with their staff.
