REF: SSP#201209-196 / Notice of Intent - Ed Roehr Safety Products Co. (RESULTS)
Sheriff Jimmie Russell came before the Commission to discuss the Notice of Intent to Declare Single
Feasible Sole Source SSP #201209-196 pursuant to RSMo 34.044. Sheriff Russell informed the
Commission that repair service for the existing tasers will be discontinued in this month.
Commissioner Strahan declared Ed Roehr Safety Products Co. (distributor for Taser International) as the
single feasible sole source for Tasers for the Sheriff's Department. Presiding Commissioner Houseman
seconded the motion.
There was no one present to give an opposing response or comment, or present themselves as a
possible viable competitor for the services or items discussed here today.
The m otion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (absent).
