After opening responses from all of the above listed companies, with Tammy Hagler - Taney County 911
Administrator, a request was made to allow a time for review by the Taney County 911 Board. As such
Thursday April 11, 2013 was formally scheduled for a recommendation to be made to the Taney County
Commission.
April 11, 2013: The Taney County Commission met today in reference to the above listed RFP. Tammy
Hagler as well as myself and others, met with the Commission and recommended the Commission award
to; AECOM of Lynchburg, Va. based on the following reasons:
1.) More experience than the other Responders.
2.) More of a background in dealing with projects specific to our needs, than the other Responders.
3.) AECOM would be handling the assignments totally without contracted work, or direct
associations with any specific product Vendor. (As indicated could be the case within other
responses.)
4.) Unanimous agreement by all 911 Board Members that AECOM would be the best choice to meet
all of the needs for Taney County.
The Commission thereafter voted unanimously to award to AECOM as recommended.
