After opening responses from all of the above listed companies today, Sheriff Jimmie Russell and I
completed a thorough review of all information received as well as documenting each response as listed
above. All three Vendors have indicated that Chrysler has a program currently in place which is set to
expire on April 30, 2013 causing these Bidded amounts to increase. As such we want to complete this
process as soon as possible. W e then requested to be formally scheduled for a recommendation to be
made on Monday April 8, 2013 to the Taney County Commission.
April 8, 2013: The Taney County Commission met today in reference to the above listed RFB. Sheriff
Russell, and I, met with the Commission and recommended that due to the small difference in the two
lowest Bids we suggested the local dealership made more sense and recommended the Commission
award this Bid to Tri-Lakes Motors in Branson, Missouri. The Commission thereafter voted
unanimously to do so.
